The Church of the Holy Sepulchre OR The Garden Tomb - Where was Jesus crucified, buried, and raised from the dead?

Many say the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is the place where Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. This is the place where Helena, the mother of emperor Constantine, picked out after researching tradition in 325. This church is laid claim to by five denominations and is built around a stone hill we have come to know as Mt. Calvary. In this single church there is a place pointed to as the place Jesus was crucified – a place pointed to as the place Jesus was anointed – a place pointed to as the place where the tomb was before a Muslim sultan destroyed it. What I found interesting is a crack in the bedrock of Calvary that is presumed to be from the earthquake as Jesus said, “It is Finished” and the ground was shaken and the curtain torn in the temple.

Some say the Garden Tomb is the place where Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. This is a place just outside the city near the Damascus gate. This would have been a busy thoroughfare. The place has a two thousand year old quarry that predates Christ with an eerie stone face in the shape of a skull (Golgatha is Aramaic for skull). Excavations have also discovered a large water system for irrigation of a vineyard and a wine press which proves it was a garden. Best of all is the discover of a 2000 year old tomb…

You NEED TO COME HERE FOR YOURSELF AND DECIDE WHERE THE SUFFERING, DEATH, AND RESURRECTION OF OUR Savior happened. This is what I know … IT HAPPENED!! Jesus is RISEN!! Our enemies - sin, death, and Satan have been UTTERLY defeated. Jesus won!!! We do not worship a HOLY PLACE. We worship the ONE WHO is HOLY and MAKES US HOLY!! Repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be preached in His name to the ends of the earth and then he will come to take us to be with Him in the paradise of God forever. NOW… HEAR THE LIVING SAVIOR SPEAK … Mat 28:18 When Jesus came near, he spoke to them. He said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19] So wherever you go, make disciples of all nations: Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. [20] Teach them to do everything I have commanded you. "And remember that I am always with you until the end of time."
