We ate our lunch at Christmas Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.
This church became famous for the pictures in 2002 of Isaeli tanks rolling down the streets by this church to rescue pilgrims who were held hostage in the Church of the Nativity. Bethlehem Lutheran Church has a large modern community center that they use to reach out to the community with the love of Christ. Many Lutherans around the world find a place of service supporting this church in reaching out to Palestinians.
